Myrrh Gum is produced by harvesting the aromatic tree resin that excretes from cut bark of the Commiphora species,that is native to desert areas in Arabia and Africa, where it grows in isolated stands.
Myrrh has been implemented as incense in religious ceremonies, temples and churches for thousands of years, to enhance spiritual experiences.
It is also used in the commercial manufacture of cosmetics and other herbal health care products.
